Cursillo changed my life! I went on my Cursillo weekend in 2018, somewhat reluctantly. I did not know what to expect. In a series of talks and meditations, we were encouraged to look at our life and evaluate our faith, there was nothing judgemental about this, it was all in a loving and safe environment. I think what I remember most was the love that was shown to us all throughout theweekend. It was quite overwhelming!
Cursillo, reignited and deepened my faith! At a time in my life when I needed a new direction, it gave me that and much more, a stronger faith, wonderful friends, and a sense of belonging. Life still has its ups and downs but I am calmer and stronger now and much more aware of the presence of God in my life. I am grateful to Elaine for encouraging me to go and Irene Hinde for her gentle(?) persuasion.
To sum it up, Cursillo is a community of love for God and for each other...
